Hi Freeco Unfortunately I cannot see the photos you attached. Can you? I ask this because perhaps it is due to my computer I cannot see them.

I am sorry but cannot read the serial number properly (my bad). It says: 26126134? But what's the prefix? So we can have a look online how it looks like on other guitars.

Hi Freeco. I am not quite sure what you mean but the Z6.... of the serial number indicates it was manufactured in 2006.

Hi, it's a model from 2006 but it's not from the 60th Diamond Anniversary Series. As far as I know Jazz Basses were only available in 3TSB (like mine).
Send your e-mail adress so I can send more details of the anniversary version.

It isn't all that good an idea to place email addresses publicly on the internet. I suggest you remove it, and PM it to Bernhard.

Sorry and my apologoies I cannot either. One has to register in order to be able to receive and send PMs ...

Doesn't take away from the fact that there are 'email-scammers' active on the Internet who can (and will) make mis-use of anyone's email address they will see.

Perhaps Bernhard will visit this forum here again and see these messages and respond.

I own one, best jazz I ever played (as far as a Fender)and being a local bass tech I played (and owned a few)they had a few up-grades over the regular american series jazz bass, such as erloid dots, american vintage pick-ups,minty green p-gaurd,and rolled fingerboard edges and FAUX diamond in the headstock(alone makes the bass alomost Jaco"esque) and lets not forget the S-1 pots which makes it sound like a Indonesian made Squier p-bass.
BUT I do love mine,so take it for what its worth
