So, I bought a used Epiphone Elitist Les Paul off Craigslist (I know - I'm a dummy!). The guitar seems to be authentic but there is something that makes me think it is a fake - The bridge hardware seems to be screwed directly into the body and not into a threaded gromet-type fitting. The tailpice has threaded "gromets" that are fitted into the body and that looks normal to me but the bridge just screws right into the wood.

' any thoughts here?

Perhaps you have a photo you can attach so we may be able to compare it with 'an original'?
