Bound Stems

Boundstems

There is something about the Sound that the Bound Stems produce that I just cant put my finger on, maybe they are reminiscent of some other band from way back when, but they feel like home to me.
I can’t explain it any better that that.
The first album that they released in 2006 was called Appreciation Night and then went on a long tour (that I didn’t get to meet up with any where unfortunately)
Last July they released Family afloat about which Can You See the Sun Says

With The Family Afloat, Chicago’s Bound Stems have easily made one of the best indie rock records of 2008. It is engaging, off-kilter, and full of obtuse but catchy-as-hell melodies that will leave you clamoring for more.

This is Happens to Us All Otherwise - Bound Stems, Family afloat. You are welcome to go over the their MySpace Page to taste some more and purchase directly from them.
