I have recently bought an AW-3 Dynamic Wah pedal and im very pleased with it but it eats batteries! I am making a power supply for it but the only thing i dont know is what type of connector the pedal has for power in, i need to know so i can get the relevant plug which fits in the socket on the pedal.

Ok, i know this is quite sad but i have answered my own question. In case anyone is interested the power connectors are the same as the "Q" type available from Maplin in the UK. Order code is AR27E and they are only 49p.

I went up to a shop to buy some power supplies for my pedals (Boss, Marshall and Ibanez TS-9). Told her "9V adaptor". First question I got from her was "What resistance?". Went back and checked every one of the pedals and nothing was written abt resistance. So what resistance would be suitable? I`ve seen adaptors with resistance as low as 350mA.
Thanks for any answers! Wong

I have been powering all of the pedals in my pedal board with a very compact 1500 mA "travel" adaptor from Radio Shack for years... Once in a while the good folks at R.S. make a good product.(guess that means they will discontinue making it)
Remember that some companies reverse the polarity for their pedals, so simply reverse the wiring to the plug for those pedals
