I am looking to upgrade the P-90 in my Les Paul Junior clone and was wondering if anybody had any suggestions. Also, since the Junior has only one pickup should I go for a hotter replacement. Adding a humbucker is not an option since I prefer the single coil sound.

I was angry with my friend I told my wrath, my wrath did end. I was angry with my foe: I told it not, my wrath did grow.

I have an Epiphone Les Paul Junior, and replaced its P90 with the real
Gibson P90, and the results are wonderful. The Epi pickup was very susceptible to microphonic feedback, but the Gibson is much better in this regard. Adn the tone is to die for.

I would not know how I am supposed to feel about many stories if not for the fact that the TV news personalities make sad faces for sad stories and happy faces for happy stories.

I don't embrace trouble; that's as bad as treating it as an enemy. But I do say meet it as a friend, for you'll see a lot of it and had better be on speaking terms with it.
