Hi
I was wondering what a good amp would be for a beginner. I have bought a Les Paul Special 2 and would love to get that gibson sound.
My budget is around $500 for the amp.

Hi Martin, Amps and sound is a tricky one since we all have individual tastes and what I might think sounds one way you may think another...I suggest that you go to your nearest music shop with your new guitar in hand and explain what you want and the Money you have to spend and try several amps in your range...If you like a particular amp you may be able to pick one up on ebay or in the ads cheaper than a new model.
