My Yamaha APX-5A and hardshell case were recently ripped off. I am ready to replace it but always had my eye on the APX-7A. I am finding now APX-5A is being sold at most online sites for $500 while the APX-7A is selling for $400!! I always thought the 7 was an upgrade with gold hardware etc...wassup with that???

I have never played the 7 but my 5 was one hot axe. Can anyone compare from a hands-on the 5 to the 7? Also can anyone speculate why the 7 is $100 less than the 5 these days??? Thank you

Thank you so much..I never played a faster necked acoustic then the apx-5a I had. I am looking forward to my new 7...thx again so much
