Hey Slash! Thanks for the comment. The customer has not seen it yet. i gave him the option of picking an image or just giving me complete artistic control. He chose to let me have my way with it which always works out better for the owner. I generally give flat rates for jobs like this one and more often than not the customer gets much more work for their buck. the reason is that when i have artistic control over a project I just go OFF. (I just cant hel it)

PEACE!!

Yes, I can imagine something like that, Mike. Not be bound by restrictions of design but letting your free mind work on it indeed seems to me more rewarding for a customer

Sparky2,

I dont have pics of it all assembled but I do have this photo of it with the clear coat applied. I'm trying to get the kid to send me some finished pics with the pups, knobs and hardware installed. In the first image you can just barely make out the undercoat with the custom "Blue Shade Interference" colorshift special effects paint.

The next pic is a digital rendering of graphics I'll be starting on a customers classic Jackson. The axe is white and beat up pretty bad but this is a good representation of the end result when finished.

WOW.

That is beautiful. (I like the Jackson even more than the Les Paul.)
You have a great talent.
